This new detached house for a young couple takes the neighbourhood's post-war veteran's home as its formal point of departure. Volumes were then subtracted from the monopoly house like shape to give each space access to the outdoors and to the sun at the appropriate time of the day.

The project garnered a 2014 Québec Grand Prix du Design (Residential space 1 600 - 3 200 sq ft category) and received some nice coverage in the press with articles and features in Globe and Mail, Frame, and Dwell among others.
